History

In 2007, Dryden-Kamis Insurance was started by John Dryden, Sr. and his family (which includes Joyce Kamis). John is an engineer, retired from an international company, and more recently retired (at the sweet age of 76) from pastoring a church. They started the business in a one room former gas station and funded the operation with part of John’s pension monies. Dryden-Kamis Insurance has a passion to provide excellent service and products for its customers.

As it grew, other like-minded people soon partnered with the agency. With the expansion of the product line, it grew into a full-service agency, and currently serves Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Iowa, and most recently, Arkansas. The agency offices are located in the historic Sunderland Home in Newton, Illinois.
